The Decos wall
panels sold in the UK are extremely versatile. Wall panelling
can be fitted in any room - in the home or at work - and can be
fitted to walls or ceilings.
Kitchen Cladding
Waterproof wall
panels can be used very effectively on kitchen walls and ceilings
and will provide an extremely attractive easy to clean, grout free
surface. Our kitchen cladding has a European M1 fire rating and will
resist heat up to 60°C - the only thing to remember is that it is a
UPVC cladding system and as with most plastic it is liable to melt
or warp if exposed to direct heat such as kitchen hobs or central
heating boilers. In these situations it is better to use ceramic
tiles in these hot areas and use panelling in the rest of the room.
Bath Panels
It is possible to
make a bath panel from all of our panelling products.
If you are panelling
your bathroom you will probably have enough off-cuts left over to
make a bath panel. This will give your bath a "built-in" look and
will also provide a very sturdy panel - much more rigid than a
conventional acrylic bath panel that are supplied with many bathroom
suites.
Sometimes a frame
needs to be made to which the panels are attached, but this is not
always necessary (depending on the type of bath). You can also make
a corner bath panel, although this is a little more complicated -
contact our sales office for details.
Bathroom Wall
Cladding
Unlike ceramic tiles,
our bathroom panel is warm to the touch so condensation will not
form on it, therefore mould growth is inhibited. Our wall panels are
therefore very well suited to areas of the house with high humidity
such as the bathroom, but they are equally effective in a shower
room, kitchen, wet room or utility room. There is no grout so
cleaning is simplicity itself, just a quick wipe over with soapy
water. Bathroom cladding can be installed over tiles providing they
are fixed securely. Its honeycomb structure lends a degree of heat
and noise insulation to any surface to which it is attached.
Panel Showers
You can panel a
shower cubicle with our decorative wall cladding or even the whole
shower room or wet room. If you have got an existing shower cubicle
that needs to be brightened up the panels can be installed over your
existing tiles - and running the panels down on to a shower tray
will produce a better seal than running them behind the shower tray.
The waterproof panels do not have to be limited to the shower
cubicle alone, the whole room can be transformed - and the more you
use, the greater the benefit: no grout to keep clean, rake out or
maintain; nothing to paint or varnish; condensation problems
reduced*
Hygienic Wall
Cladding
Our waterproof wall
panels are suitable for use as a hygienic wall cladding system in
food preparation areas as there is no grout to harbour gems or
bacteria. Installation is quick and easy and with little or no
preparation work required can prove very cost effective even in
large areas.
Ceiling Panels
Anyone who has
painted a ceiling will appreciate the maintenance free qualities of
our ceiling panels. All of the panels in our range can be used as
ceiling cladding, but some work better than others on the ceiling.
As a general rule light, matt or silk finishes work best but try to
avoid using the same panels on the walls and ceiling.

Froth-Pak® - Expanding Spray & Injection Foam
|

The FROTH-PAK kit comprises
two pressurised tanks, linked by hoses, to a dispensing gun. When the
contents of the two tanks are dispensed, they chemically react to produce a
froth-like substance, which quickly expands to about three to five times the
dispensed volume. The foam solidifies in about 60 seconds and fully cures
into a solid permanent structure in approximately five minutes. Cured foam
resists moisture, insulates, dampens noise, adds structural support,
provides an air-seal and fills voids.
Froth-Pak is the best form of insulation available, because
of its closed compact cellular structure.
Froth-Pak although combustible has a European Class B2 or
new Class E fire rating which is equivalent to BS EN11925-2, making it
difficult to ignite. The foam's low thermal conductivity makes it
approximately twice as effective as an insulation material as other forms of
insulation such as glass fibre , expanded polystyrene and rockwool®.
Spray Froth-Pak onto any clean, dry surface in any
direction to insulate, fill and seal various size voids, dampen sound or
reduce vibration. It is specifically designed to spray onto flat or
irregular surfaces, and to fill large cavities.
Froth-Pak
'Quick Cure' fully expands and dries tack-free within seconds. Cut able in
2-5 minutes.
Froth-Pak Two-component foam systems expand with
approximately an 8-to-1 ratio, and cure to a semi-rigid closed cell foam
upon the chemical reaction of component A (a polymeric isocyanate) with
component B (a polyol blend containing certain additives).
Froth-Pak adheres to almost all building materials with the
exception of surfaces such as polyethylene, Teflon®, silicone, oils and
greases, mould release agents, and similar materials.
Optimal application temperature is 24°C (75°F) but may be
sprayed onto colder or warmer substrates, with slight effects on the foam
characteristics. Cured foam is resistant to heat and cold, -129°C to +93°C
(-200°F to +200°F), and to aging, but not UV rays unless painted, covered or
coated. Cured foam is also chemically inert and non-reactive in approved
applications.
Froth-Pak systems require no outside mechanical or
electrical power source and are disposable & refillable. Handi-Foam® is
available in various kit sizes to meet specific job application
requirements. When sprayed, the foam will create a seamless, continuous seal
to insulate and protect against dust, air infiltration, pests, etc.
Typical applications include:
-
Spraying underside of slate tiles, to hold tiles in
place, to help insulation, to water proof and stop
condensation
-
Spraying wood or metal sheds for insulation and stopping
condensation.
-
New build or renovation of old properties.
